Our children at Happy House all know what it is like to be in need. are in our care because of the hardship or tragedy that their families have suffered. They also know that Happy House, their home,. only exists because of the generosity of those people who support us.And so they were happy to t help, in their own small way., to raise money for the desperate people of Ukraine whose country and whose lives are being torn apart by war. They decided to go without their reagular trip to the salons to have their hair braided or to the barber for a haircut and to donate he money saved to a charity urgent response in Ukraine. So here we see the girls helping each other to braid their own hair – a time consuming job for unskilled hands. As Husna tells us they feel sad for Ukraine and wish for “Peace not war”.
