Voting in the Kenya elections is scheduled to start tomorrow. Our Happy House School, in line with other schools in the country, closed on August 2 and will reopen on Thursday. Voters will elect the President, members of the National Assembly and Senate, county governors of Kenya and members of the 47 county assemblies of Kenya. As Husna tells us in this video the children, like most of the residents of Kenya, hope and pray that the elections will be peaceful and will not disrupt normal life. the past, there has been trouble even to the extent that some countries warned tourists against travelling to Kenya which led to extreme hardship in areas, like Watamu, that rely on the tourism industry.Our childern understad the value of tourism to the economy and also enjoy seeing the international visitors who like to come to see our charity’s work at Happy House.
