In these times when money is so tight, it’s heartening to see how, once again, to show how everything donated to or bought by Happy House is worn or used until it is absolutely worn out. The Unite the Union t-shirts worn in this video were taken out to Happy House by Terry Burns MBE, retired regional political officer for the union, in 2010. Terry, also founder of acharity Furniture for Education Worldwide, also arranged shipments of pre-loved furniture to help us finish and furnish our children’s home ready to open. We think he’ll be surprised to see the t-shirts, worn and washed so many times, still looking good and fresh on our youngsters as they wish you all a very merry Christmas.
