Our Happy House children are always welcomed with love, understanding and respect. They are coming into a place unlike anything they have ever know and are bewildered for a while but soon settle. For sisters Elizabeth and Zawadi, the newest members of our family, settling in has been made harder because they didn’t speak any English and their tribal language was a dialect that our staff had difficulty understanding. But as Happy House kids they had a big family of other children all eager to help them and from knowing very little, they are now getting on fine as Diana tells us. She also says how helping her new “sisters” is being able to give back some of the love she was shown when she arrived.
