Learning about waste management

Pupils at Happy House School are learning about the importance of waste management and the cost of waste on their environment. ,Here a team is with teacher Madam Loreen taking part in a practical exercise using improvised tools. ,Their task is collect items of waste in the school grounds with boys charged to collect any that cannot be composted while girls collect that which can be broken down by composting. ,Once collected the waste that will not decompose would be made into ornaments while the remainder would be made into compost.
