Trail-blazing famale lawyer, Patricia, had some inspirational advice for our children when the visited our Happy House on our 15th birthday anniversary.
One of first female professors of law in Kenya she told told our children: “I was also little, like you, with dreams, so you need to have big dreams, dreams that, when you want to sleep in class, make you stay awake so that you can realise your dreams.
” Noone should ever tell you “can’t be”.
“You can be anything you want to be just keep your hope, your trust in God, and stay focused.”
Professor Patricia and her party brought with them a much-appreciated gift of groceries which will be a huge help and she promised that this visit would not be her only one. We really look forward to seeing them all again..
