Stocking our store room at Happy House has become a major problem since the start of the pandemic. ,Covid meant that the number visitors coming to Watamu declined immediately, and that meant that we missed not only seeing our friends, and making new ones, we also missed out on all the wonderful clothing and other essentials they would bring for our children. V ,ery slowiy, visitors are returning and we are thrilled to welcome them to see our work. One of the most recent is an old friend, Paul Hatch from Essex. ,Paul has visited previously on his own and with his mum, Betty. ,Betty, our Auntie Betty , is just the best shopper and loves searching for bargains for our items. ,So Paul’s return to Watamu meant Paul could bring items bought by Betty, plus his own gifts and those of family and friends. Our Auntie Velma was delighted to receive them and to express our thanks to Paul, Betty and their family and friends.
