Whenn Musyoka came to Happy House as a very young boy he’d been trailing the streets with his nomadic mum and had become the carer of his younger brother and baby sisterr. ,To settle them in back in 2010, Mama Sue letv them sleep together as they had done so they got comfort from each other. ,Gradually, as they settled, they grew independent of each other enjoying being a part of our big and happy family. ,We established regular contact with their grandfather, who lives hundreds of miles away, and he visted them when he could and eventually they went on home visits. ,When it seemed viable the children returnhed home to live with grandparents and initially settled well but sister Mwende struggled and came back to Happy House. ,Recently Musyoka was finding his school couldn’t provide the education that he knew he should be getting and was afraid of hos prospects. ,He asked Mama Sue if he could return and she told him that provided he worked hard and studied hard he could. ,He is so grateful to the Mama Sue he loves and is missing now and to all those people who support our charity and make his life possiible and ensure our children smile.
