Today we join gardener Uncle Tevin in one of the growing tunnels we have in our garden at the Happy House. ,The mesh tunnels, which were specially develped for small farmers, protect the crops from the intense Kenyan sunlight and reduce access to the number of bugs! ,Uncle Tevin is working on the tomato crop. ,With 60 kids in our family we get through lots of tomatoes. The crop is just in flower and he is looking forward to a bumper harvest in a few weeks time.
