To those of us who go back to the days when Happy House was just the vision of our inspirational founder, Mama Sue, it’s heartwarming to see how the first children to come into its care are doing so well. ,.It was in 2010, just as Sue’s dream became a reality, that John arrived with his older brother Sifa and younger sister, Karembo. ,Now John is all grown up, has finished school amd is looking forward to starting university in Sepetmber. ,He’s been back at Happy House to help our current family of children with their school assignments. ,Sue wamted to provide a family home for children in need and to give them a happy childhood with an education that would give them the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty into which they were born. ,My goodness, Sue, how you have succeeded, we just wish you had lived long enough to see it.
