When Mama Sue designed her Happy House she chose to put an open courtyard or atrium right at it’s hearts, with bedrooms on each side. T ,his made a light and airy environment, which could be secured at each endm to ensure the children were safe and sound. ,At the centre of the courtyard is a garden which is a source of pleasure an pride. Inevitably, with such a lot of very small children, there is the occasional bit of takataka (litter) but it doesn’t stay there for long. ,The older children who know not to drop litter quickly clear it as Morphin and Saidi are doing in this video.
