Mr Walter is still new to our Happy House family, teaching maths and integrated science in our school.
As part of the 2023 changes to the structure of primary and secondary education in Kenya, the Ministry of Education made it mandatory for lower secondary schools to have a well-equipped science laboratory. This is to give students the opportunity to learn through practical experience.
We were fortunate to be one of the rare schools to already have a science lab which we were able to build some years ago thanks to Blackpool branch of Soroptimist International which kindly donated funds for the lab from the Christine Walker Memorial Fund, whilst other donations have been secured towards the remainder.
Mr Walter is delighted to work in a school that is ahead of its time and has such good facilities and ttentive students.
