Once again the rains have come to Watamu and although they are much neded and very welcome they also have a habit of finding any flaws inthe makuti thatch roofing we have at Happy House. Repair men are in to work on the roofing and Uncle Charo from our maintenance department is checking that the job is going well. Makuit thatch, made from palm, is a local industry so any money we sped directly benefits the economy of our immediate area.
