With 50 children in our family it is vitally important that the Happy House machine runs smoothly. It’s up to our maintenance department to ensure that mechanical, electrical and technical items are all well looked looked after to eliminate breakdowns wherever possible. Power cuts, so familiar during the rains, are often followed by power surges which can play havoc with electrical items even tough we have circuit breakers in place. Uncle Ibrahim works in the maintenance department and he has a system in place of checking all electrical items once a month.
