There is something very special about being a part of charity like Children of Watamu and its Happy House family, you get to meet so many lovely and very kind people.
Phil Marshall is one of them. He went out to visit a few years ago and has since become a special friend to our family and vice-chair of our trustees.
He noticed that the cushions in the communal lounge were looking very shabby and genrousy offered to pay for materials needed for new ones.
They’ve been made in our sewing home and were put on this week much to the delight of the children and aunties.
you Uncle Phil it’s a great Christmas present and you’ll be able to test them out for yourself when you visit in 2025.
Meanwhile, the old covers will be cut up and used for cleaning cloths.
