Party time

The Happy House was glowing with festive cheer as the children celebrated an early Christmas party, all thanks to our friends Lewis and Hayley from My Little Zen, so we are turning the clock back to give you a glimpse!

With face painting, masks, candy canes, party games, and even a three-legged race, the day was packed with excitement.

One of the highlights of the day was the much-loved lucky dip. Sister Natasha was on duty to ensure no sneaky peeks as the children reached into the bag, each pulling out a surprise gift. These treasures were thoughtfully brought by Lewis, Hayley, and our special visitor, Mama Louise – Lewis’s mum and a new friend to the Happy House who came to visit all the way from Blackpool in the UK.

Mama Louise was touched by the children’s kindness and sense of community. “What struck me,” she said, “was how polite the children were, sharing their toys and taking turns. It was so lovely to see them enjoying themselves together.”

The celebrations weren’t just about gifts and games. They were a reminder of what Christmas is all about – connection, generosity, and the joy of being together. Here in Watamu, the festive spirit is as much about the warmth of our Happy House family as it is about candy canes and sprinkles.

As the day came to a close, the Christmas vibes were alive and well, setting the tone for a season full of magical moments. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special for our incredible Happy House family!
