It was so good , earlier this week, to hear John Bhati talking about how his grades in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education meant he could appply for a place at university. ,This week, with the deadline for applications looming, he’s been deciding where he would like to go to study acountancy. Helping him through the process has been Simon, a social worker who came to work alongside our social worker Auntie Elina last year to gain experience,who has now come back in a supporting role. ,We are so proud of John, one of our very first Happy House kids, he’s worked so hard and seized every opportunity we have opened up for him. ,Without Happy House his life would have been very different indeed.
