When you have 60 children in your family the weekly grocery bill certainly costs a pretty penny! ,That’s why it’s so amazingly helpful when visitors bring donations of groceries or go out to do s household shop for Happy House. ,Friends Peter and Joanne Reid went into Timboni with Papa Dave yesterday to spend the money they had received in donations before travelling to Watamu to join us for Christmas. ,They bought a huge amount of things including rice, spaghetti, jam, salt, sugar, tea, nappies, laundry detergent, flour, oil, bottled water and much more. ,Everything on the Happy House list was ticked off by the returned to the Happy House where some of older children helped to unload the shopping and bring it in ready to go into our strores. ,With many, many thanks to Peter, a charity trustee, and Joanne from Lytham, Lancashire, and to those who donated with a special mention to New Therapy House of Lytham St Annes. ,Your support is much needed and much appreciated.
