A New Year beckoning and, in March, it will bring the 13th anniversary of the Happy House opening. How much has happened since Mama Sue achieved her dream back in 2010, and how proud she would be to see the way her devoted husband, Papa Dave, has kept things going since her sudden passing last year. Every one of the happy, smiling, faces you see in our videos is a testimony to the work we do. It’s hard to believe how much sadness or trauma these children had experienced before being entrusted into our care. Right from the start, Mama Sue said children’s home would be called the Happy House because that it was it would be – a family home full of happiness. And that it is.
