With their school starting back this week, some of our Happy House children are looking forward to the next step in their education. Brian Hayward is one of them. He hasn’t been putting his feet up waiting for the new term, he’s been working hard shifting a pile of top soil to refresh the beds in our greenhouses. The Happy House is built on a foundation of coral, once having been a part covered by ocean, so there is very little depth of soil and we have had to build it up, and top it up, over the years. Now at £100 a load it’s a dear do, but we need it to grow our crops of vegetables so it really is needs must. If you would like to help with the cost you can make a donation via https://www.justgiving.com/childrenofwatamu/donate Thank you.
