Two of Children of Watamu charity trustees, Lewis Hall and Cherry Ridgway, have been making one of their regular visits to Happy House.
As part of their trip they have talking to all the children in the Happy House to ensure that they are happy and do not have any worries or concerns.
They have been making sure that policies, drawn up by trustees DawnHeather White and Phil Marshall, areunderstood and being applied correctly.
Their aim is to make sure that both children and staff do not have an issues.
Lewis and Cherry have scrutinised our finances, money so kindly donated by sponsors and donors around the world, to see that it is used as intended – with every penny going directly to supporting our children in the Happy House children’s home and their education.
We have always prided ourselves on our accountablity and are grateful to have our performance evaluted by Cherry and Lewis. We truly appreciate the way they share their time and expertise in supporting our work and our management team and for their friendship to all our family.
