A prolonged dry spell with ever-rising temperatures as the start of the rains approach, is causing a headache for our Happy House gardener Uncle Tevin.
He is working extra hard to ensure that we get the best yield we can from the crops we have planted so that we can continue to suppply some fresh vegetables to our kitchen for the children’s meals.
Uncle Tevin is watering both day and night to give the plants a chance and says he’s looking forward to start of the rains and an end to the “unbearable” heat.
